Funny Faces...

Brenna takes such pride in her ability to go cross eyed. She started doing this about a month ago, and it cracks Bill and I up every time we see it. She will have an entire conversation with us, cross eyed... as we are laughing hysterically, she holds her composure and a straight face... She really is such a funny girl! We took a picture of her crossed eyes to send to her Uncle Nick in Iraq, she thought he would appreciate that, and I am pretty sure he will get a big kick out of it... Of course Sammy had to get his funny face in too! Love these kids!

Eat your veggies...

Both of our kids have always been big fans of their veggies. I am not quite sure what got into Sam, but he decided that he no longer likes the whole green bean, just the seed inside. He sat at dinner the other night pulling apart the green beans and picking out the seeds inside to eat... He is an odd kid.

Me with my babies, a little over a year ago... Loving them, Enjoying them, their innocence.

Today, I am so far from that. Where did I loose me? Where did I loose my appreciation for the joys my babies bring to me? I find myself easily irritated, lost in my own head, mind boggled, the little things that used to make me happy I have forgotten about. My poor babies are taking the brunt of my unhappiness within me, it needs to stop. They deserve better than my irritability...

Tonight, this is where you can find me.... I need to find me, and only he knows where I have gone...

Doppleganger

So, all month on facebook people have been posting their celebrity look alikes... they have been calling it "doppleganger week." Today I had to laugh when Brenna came into the living room with bright red lipstick on and handed me a scarf that she wanted tied around her head in a bow. After I had the scarf in I had to take a pic... she reminded me of Kirstie Alley in "Look who's talking."
