Bill and I met in the summer of 2000.  I was headed into my senior year of high school and he was a graduate who had just returned home from military training.  We spent a wonderful four years dating, one of which we spent writing back and forth while he was serving our country in Afghanistan.  

Through that year of writing we came to realize how much we loved and needed one another and upon his return in the summer of 2004, we planned our wedding in five weeks and married.  

We welcomed our first little bundle of joy Brenna in October 2005 after a long, complicated pregnancy, followed by an even more complicated labor process.  She added so much joy to our family and we couldn't wait to add another.  

In April 2007, we welcomed our second, and last, little monster Samuel.  The three of us were thrilled to have been blessed with yet another perfect, healthy little soul to love.  He was what our family needed to be complete. 

We live in a small mining town on the far west side of Salt Lake County and love being here.  It has been the best home we could ask for surrounded by amazing friends and neighbors.

I just entered into my third year of college, working on obtaining a bachelors degree in Elementary Education.  I hope to be completing my student teaching in the fall of 2014 allowing me to have my own classroom in the fall of 2015.  Being a full time mom of two little ones has made my education process a slow and tedious one, but I am determined.  I spend a lot of time volunteering in my kids classroom and have been very fortunate to be able to do so.  I love every  minute of it.  I have a great love and passion for photography, which resulted in the development of my small photography business, Jessica T. Bill has been working as a mechanic for the last 12 years and is currently working for a local equipment rental company.  He is an amazing provider, husband, and father.  He spent 12 years of his life serving our great country and we are very proud to call him our hero.  He strives to give our family the very best and will forever be our rock.  He is an avid outdoors man who spends much of his spring and summer months treasure hunting or fishing in the mountains.  He is determined to strike it rich one day with a great treasure find.   

Brenna

Brenna is a very fun-loving, emotional, spunky, passionate, kind-hearted, talented little girl.  She loves animals and loves to perform.  She is passionate about dancing and is committed to being the very best dancer she can.  Really, she is a natural.  She loves to sing and is a non-stop chatter box.  She has so much to say, accompanied by a whole lot of attitude.  She loves to be the center of attention.  She is an amazing student and is wise beyond her years.  She has been said to have a brilliant mathematical mind and advanced vocabulary.  She loves to be at school and loves to learn.  She is creative and loves to do arts and crafts.  She spends much of her time drawing, coloring, and reading books. She is a leader and loves to boss her baby brother around.  She is BEAUTIFUL and totally NOT interested in the boys, though they are all interested in her.  She is a good friend to everyone and very popular in school.  With her brains, beauty, and caring nature she is sure to make a difference in this world.  When she grows up she wants to be a dancer, singer, and an artist.  She makes us very proud.

Sam

Sam is our energetic B.O.Y!  He likes bugs, getting dirty, sports, fishing, video games, GIRLS, and teasing his sister.  He has a wild and inventive imagination that makes for some very fun, laughable times in the Tomlin house.  Sam is very hands on and gets a kick out of how things work.  He likes to build with his lego's and take things apart to see what's inside and if he can put it back together.  He has a weird obsession with flashlights and money. He has a crazy sense of humor and likes to make people laugh.  He is sarcastic and witty.  He is loyal, sensitive, caring, and a tender heart.  He is cool and carrismatic and has girls chasing after him wherever he goes.  He keeps us on our toes and adds so much fun and laughter to our family.  When he grows up he wants to be a fire fighter, a doctor, a dentist, and Curious George "so he can swing from the trees..." He is very determined and will go far in life. Any girl who steals his heart will be the luckiest in the whole wide world, until then he is a mama's boy through and through!
